Take Signstek's Plu331 deadbolt lock as an example, it consists of following parts:

Number Buttons: Input the pass codes, each pass code is 4-10 digits in length.

Programming Button: Function setup & Lock and unlock.

Cylinder: Retract / Extend the latch bolt by key from the exterior.

Battery Holder: Four AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries.

R Button (Reset): Restore default setting.

Turn-piece: To lock/unlock the lockset from inside.

Battery Lid: Slide the lid to change the batteries.
